Sam was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon and is a graduate of the 2200 hour program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, Victoria Campus. His preferred techniques include medium to deep tissue work with a focus on sports injury rehabilitation and relaxation massage. With nearly a decade as a former international cross country ski racer and a passionate local hiker around Vancouver island, Sam knows the aches and pains associated with high level sport. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Sam completed a Bachelor of Science degree In Kinesiology at the University of Alaska Anchorage. While enjoying working with clients of all walks of life, Sam takes a special interest in helping weekend warriors to elite athletes recover from injuries and training to increase their overall performance through both treatments and remedial exercise. Sam has worked with Team Canada Men’s and Women’s Rugby 7’s & 15’s to Olympic level athletes in cross country skiing, swimming, and rowing. Sam’s goal is to provide patients with effective, relaxing, and educational treatment, leaving you feeling great and confident in your health and wellness.
