Biography

Tawnee  was born and raised in Victoria, BC  on Wsanec and Songhees territory.  

Being Cree First Nations, Culture has always played an important role in her life, it has taught her to be compassionate, have a sense of community, and care for people’s well-being. 

In Tawnee’s previous line of work, she spent many years working in the Hotel industry, and it wasn’t until she sustained a work injury, that truly sparked her interest in Massage Therapy and how well the human body can recover from injuries.  

Tawnee graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy (Victoria) in 2017. Some of Tawnees interest are treating people with Chronic Anxiety, Stress, and general aches and pains from everyday work. Her treatment style is with a calming approach, Tawnee has learned many treatment techniques, and likes to incorporate them into her treatment. Some of the techniques are Myofascial Release, Trigger point therapy, Swedish relaxation, and Active release. It is very important that she provides her clients with the utmost care, educates them on how to maintain self-health, as well as build a treatment plan that will benefit her clients and their lifestyle. 

When she is not at work, Tawnee  enjoys being outside, especially near the ocean where she feels the most grounded and at peace. Tawnee also has a passion for Dance and appreciates all styles. when she is not dancing around, she loves to spend time with family and friends
